GRANT STEPHEN

DIRECTOR/ LICENSED IMMIGRATION ADVISER: 201801038

Grant has a commercial background and worked for many years for a State-Owned Enterprise across New Zealand, and around the world.

His main areas of expertise involved operations management, industrial relations, customer care, marketing, and sales.

Grant is also the director of a financial services business, import and distribution company as well as an export business.

Working with people from different cultures on an international basis became second nature for Grant and he has always been proud to talk to people who want to know about studying, working, and business in New Zealand.

Establishing his own family-orientated immigration consultancy was a natural step to take, leading to the formation of Nationwide Immigration Limited.

Grant holds a Master of Business qualification as well as a Graduate Diploma in New Zealand Immigration Advice which is one of the mandatory requirements to practice as a Licensed Immigration Adviser.

JULIE RAYNER

PRACTICE LEAD & LICENSED IMMIGRATION ADVISER: 201601539

Julie is a Licensed Immigration Adviser who provides qualified immigration advice on various visa categories for those wishing to come to New Zealand either temporarily or permanently.

Julie has an honours degree in Commerce from the University of Otago and is a qualified Legal Executive. She also holds the Graduate Certificate in New Zealand Immigration Advice and is licensed with The Immigration Advisers Authority.

With an eye for detail and a strong legal background, Julie has a talent for explaining complex immigration and legal jargon in plain language – meaning that clear communication with clients is assured.

We work with our clients to evaluate the most appropriate learning opportunities, shortlist educational providers and undertake the Student Visa application process. This is all within the context of developing a sound immigration strategy and dovetailing that with a clear pathway to residence for the applicant and their immediate family.

Each solution is tailor made and includes a comprehensive educational and migration assessment to ensure the best possible outcome.

Julie has worked in both a voluntary capacity and in her own business as an immigration adviser. She has previously volunteered for the New Zealand Red Cross, and Community Law Centres assisting former refugees in reuniting with family members.

Julie is also a member of the New Zealand Association for Migration and Investments and is currently the Vice Chair for the NZAIP [NZ Association of Immigration Professionals].

LUCILLE HATLEY

LICENSED IMMIGRATION ADVISER: 201600451

Lucille is a licensed immigration adviser who provides advice on a wide range of immigration matters and assists clients with the necessary documentation to visit temporarily or settle permanently in New Zealand.

Lucille has been through the process of immigrating  when she moved to New Zealand from South Africa in 2006, so she understands how stressful and frustrating the experience can be.

In addition to her Graduate Certificate in New Zealand Immigration Advice and immigration experience, Lucille has an extensive background in tertiary education in positions up to senior management.

She has also has good understanding and experience in business and management and has worked in the hospitality and tourism industry, including owning her own café. Her other qualifications include a Master of Hospitality and Tourism and National Diploma in Adult Education and Training.

Lucille has travelled extensively and has an affinity for helping people of all nationalities and backgrounds. You will find her approachable and willing to take time to listen to your immigration questions, identify possible pathways to achieve your goals and make the process as smooth as possible – and she has an excellent sense of humour.

Lucille is based in Christchurch and is a member of the Canterbury Adviser Group and the New Zealand Association of Immigration Professionals.

ROY CABAUATAN

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – PHILIPPINES

Roy and his family have been settled in New Zealand for many years and are based in Wellington. They are heavily involved in business and community affairs and are proactive in looking after the best interests of Filipinos living in New Zealand.

Roy holds a Bachelor of Science qualification but has been heavily involved in the banking and IT industries for the last few years with previous roles at ANZ Bank, IBM, and Hewlett Packard.

Roy also understands the world of private business and owns a roofing and construction company that undertakes projects across the country.

He is very well placed to help Filipinos who want to understand what it’s like to study, work or live in New Zealand and is able to help them become involved in their local community and establish social and business connections.

GORDON MORRISON

CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT

Gordon is a Chartered Accountant and is the co-owner and Director of a very successful accountancy practice in Auckland.

He has a wealth of experience in the private sector and continues to work as a consultant for some of Australasia’s leading businesses.

Gordon is also a Director of Morrison Accountants in Dunedin and is well placed to offer accountancy advice to individuals or businesses on the most simple or complex matters.

He is also an owner and investor in a number of other businesses in the technology sector.

DATCHANEE THERNPHRAKIAT

RECRUITMENT & TALENT MANAGER

Datchy brings a unique international perspective to her role as a Recruitment and Talent Manager, having lived in both Thailand and the UK, along with spending a significant portion of her life in New Zealand.

Her diverse background and experiences have shaped her passion for supporting employers in their back-house/office management, ensuring businesses run with optimum efficiency and effectiveness.

With over four years of dedicated service at a well-known immigration specialist firm in Auckland, Datchy has honed her skills in immigration support. During the challenging times of the COVID pandemic, she also branched out into online marketing, assisting employers in growing their businesses and strengthening their online presence.

Beyond her proficiency in office management and online marketing, Datchy’s interests lie in travel and sustainability. She holds a degree in Sustainable Tourism from the UK, coupled with a degree in Business Management from New Zealand. This knowledge, combined with her firsthand experiences of studying, working, and living in diverse cultural settings, allows her to excel in connecting job seekers with suitable employment opportunities while helping employers find the perfect fit for their teams.

With a genuine passion for fostering mutually beneficial professional relationships, Datchy takes pride in her role as a facilitator, bridging the gap between job seekers and employers.

STEWART HARRIS

INTERNATIONAL PLACEMENTS

Stewart brings extensive business growth experience to Nationwide Immigration, across both online and conventional strategies.

He has worked with businesses in a variety of sectors including finance, IT, real estate, consumer retail, and is also currently working on an international sustainable waste management solution.

Having grown up in the UK and New Zealand, and spending over eight years living in Japan, Stewart finds great joy in working with people from different cultures.

He holds a BCA from Victoria University in Wellington, as well as a variety of professional qualifications from his time in previous roles.

JINU THOMAS

COUNTRY DIRECTOR, INDIA

With a background in healthcare and as a practicing New Zealand Registered Nurse, Jinu has helped many people on their journey to New Zealand and begin exciting new careers with their families.

 

Jinu has also developed extensive business and educational contacts over the years. This leaves him well placed to assist potential New Zealand University students to select educational programmes that provide internationally recognised qualifications. 

Jinu works with our team to ensure that the course of study is a good fit for the individual and for those that want it, post study work and ultimately, residence in New Zealand, are readily achievable outcomes.
